Proof standard

Proof should make a decision easier, not decorate the page.

On Brand uses proof to show how a growth situation was understood, what evidence was available, what judgment was made, what work followed and where the claim stops.

Evidence chain

Every proof example is read through the same sequence.

A proof example is useful when a buyer can see the path from the original situation to the decision made. If part of the chain is missing, the example should say so.

01

Situation

What condition created the need for review or action?

02

Evidence

What pages, assets, reports, messages, plans, sales records or working documents were available?

03

On Brand judgment

What did the evidence show?

04

Decision

What choice became clearer?

05

Work

What was planned, produced, corrected, delivered or handed off?

06

Supported result

What can be stated without adding assumption?

07

Limit

What cannot be claimed from the available record?

Proof labels

The label tells you how to read the example.

Different proof objects carry different levels of evidence and permission. The label is part of the claim.

Client work

Real work, cleared for this setting.

A client example with the evidence, wording and permission required for use here.

Used only when the source, public wording, claim limits and permission are recorded.
Anonymised client example

Real work, identity protected.

A real example redrawn or rewritten to protect identity, with permission for the underlying use.

Anonymisation never turns confidential material into public material by itself.
Illustrative sample

Method shown without a client claim.

A constructed sample used to explain the method—not to suggest a client received the same work or result.

No real client asset, metric, logo, screenshot, quote or outcome.
Anonymised client example

From research to delivery.

A workforce-development institution was coordinating several public-facing programme and campaign streams. This traceable example shows how research moved into recommendations and a documented client handoff.

Real work. Identity protected. No performance or causal outcome claim.

Situation
A multi-programme institution needed strategic, campaign, creative and delivery work to remain connected across audiences with different timing and approval needs.
Evidence
Programme context, audience needs, existing campaign material, stakeholder requirements and delivery constraints were reviewed. A regional opportunity scan provided the clearest traceable record.
On Brand judgment
Each programme needed its own message and activation choices, held inside a wider communications framework so research, communication and production did not become disconnected workstreams.
Decision
Organise support around programme-specific needs while maintaining a connected strategic and delivery layer.
Work
On Brand provided strategic marketing and digital support across multiple workstreams. The traceable example moved from contextual research into opportunity tracks, outreach recommendations and immediate next actions delivered to the client.
Supported result
A research scan and recommendations were delivered through a documented working process, including the handoff, working records and related production artifacts.
Limit
The record does not support claims about adoption, campaign performance, registrations, revenue, ROI or causation. Permission to name the client or show public-safe materials remains separate from the truth of the work.
Source structure

Context read → four opportunity tracks → five immediate actions → documented handoff

01Context scanAudience, programme and delivery conditions
02Recommendation tracksDistinct choices inside one communications frame
03Handoff recordResearch and next actions delivered
Claim boundaries

Proof should not stretch beyond the record.

A delivered asset is not the same as an approved campaign. A recommendation is not implementation. A reported result is not independently measured causation.

  • No client name or logo without permission.
  • No public-safe document or screenshot without permission.
  • No metric without a source.
  • No outcome without evidence.
  • No causal claim without measurement.
  • No implied approval where final approval is not recorded.
Growth Audit connection

The same standard applies before new work begins.

The Growth Audit examines one priority offer and buyer journey using the evidence available. Missing evidence is recorded as a limitation rather than filled with assumption.

Before the audit

We confirm the buyer journey, evidence access and the decision leadership needs to make.

During the audit

The review follows the path from attention to trust, inquiry, follow-up and reporting.

After the audit

Leadership receives an ordered decision about what to address now, next and later.

Next step

If you need evidence before a larger commitment, start with the Growth Audit.

Tell us which offer and buyer journey matter most, what feels stuck and what evidence is available. We will confirm whether the Growth Audit is the right starting point.
